Representation Agreement and Business Marketing
The business owner will be asked to sign a representation agreement and CPA Brokerage will commence marketing activity, specifically geared for the type of company being represented and its unique confidentiality issues. This includes strategic marketing to individuals and companies in our internal database and online marketing to targeted websites. This proactive and diverse marketing program pays off in the high number of potential buyers who review the companies we represent.

Identifying Buyers
We qualify potential buyers for your business. Prospective buyers must sign a nondisclosure agreement and demonstrate financial ability before we will share detailed information on your company.
Contract Negotiations, Financing Assistance and Successful Close
As the facilitator of negotiations between buyer and seller, we create an atmosphere of confidentiality and full disclosure so that a willing and able buyer and seller can agree on both the price and terms of the transaction.
Through our extensive professional and personal networks, we can also assist with financing to put the deal together.
Escrow
Our representation does not stop when seller and buyer reach an agreement. We continue to guide both seller and buyer through the administrative process and escrow services until the transaction is completed. Escrow is “open” as soon as both buyer and seller have signed the escrow documents. CPA Brokerage is able to provide escrow services to its clients.
Post Close Training and Hand Over
It is common for the seller to spend time after the close to train the buyer on the business. It is also common for the seller to support the buyer for certain period of time after the sale of the business. In many cases, the seller also helps the buyer with financing.
